ICS SPRING/ SUMMER LEAGUE RULES AND REGULATIONS

 

U11-U13 BOYS/GIRLS RULES

• Games will be 2 x 15 minutes stop time halves using modified FIBA rules • Penalty is at 10 teams fouls each half

• Teams have 3 Time-Outs, but only 2 can be carried over to the 2nd Half • Teams can press all game, fall back is at 20 points • There is NO EQUAL PLAYING TIME rules in the spring league, 5 players necessary to start the game. Team roster, 8 minimum - 15 maximum players • U11-U13 Boys/Girls use 28.5 or Size 6 ball

 

U14 BOYS/GIRLS RULES

•The same rules as U11-U13 except will use full size ball

 

U15, U16, JUNIOR & SENIOR BOYS/GIRLS RULES

• Games will be 2 x 15 minutes stop time halves using modified FIBA rules • Penalty is at 10 teams fouls each half

• Teams have 3 Time-Outs, but only 2 can be carried over to the 2nd Half. 5 players necessary to start the game. Team roster, 8 minimum - 13 maximum players

• Shot Clock will be used • All age groups will use a full size ball

 

IMPORTANT NOTE

-Overtime for all games is 2 minutes -In 2nd Half during last 5 minutes, clock runs if the score is 15 pts or more for U10-U12 and 20 pts or more for U13-U19.

-Each team must supply its balls for use during warm-ups and have a game ball available as well. The HOME team ball will be used for the game.

-Teams participating in the league are responsible for First Aid, e.g., ice packs, band aids, etc.

-Any player(s) or coach(es) ejected from a game should leave the bench area and the gym immediately. Failure to do so will result in a one-game suspension.

-The Site Convener reserves the right to eliminate any player(s), coach(es) or spectator(s) from a game. He or she can stop the game and not to continue until this person leave the gym.

 

TIE-BREAK FORMAT

● Step 1: Most Wins

● Step 2: Two-Way Tie, Head-to-Head Method

● Step 3: Three-Way Tie, Points Difference (+/-) Example: If team A wins by 32, only a point spread of +20 will be used not +32

● Step 4: If three-way tie persists after Step 3, back to Head-to-Head method.

INTER-CITY SAINTS (I.C.S.) TOURNAMENT/LEAGUE # Waiver Form

 

WAIVER OF LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY. Completed waivers must be signed by the coaches or managers participating in the INTER-CITY SAINTS Basketball Tournament or League.

 

In consideration for allowing the players to participate in INTER-CITY SAINTS Basketball Tournament or League, the Athlete or player: (a) release, discharge and forever hold harmless INTER-CITY SAINTS Basketball Club, any and all liability for damages or loss arising as a result of the Risks of participation in or in connection with INTER-CITY SAINTS Basketball Club, (b) waive any right to sue INTER-CITY SAINTS Basketball Club. in respect of all causes of action (including for injuries or illness caused by their own negligence), claims, demands, damages or losses of any kind that may arise as a result of the Risks of participation in or in connection with the Event, including without limitation the right to make a third party claim or claim over against INTER-CITY SAINTS Basketball Club, arising from the same; and (c) freely assumes all risks associated with the Risks, anything incidental to the Risks, which may arise as a result of participation in or in connection with INTER-CITY SAINTS Basketball Club. YOU ARE GIVING UP ALL LEGAL RIGHTS TO ANY AND ALL FUTURE CLAIMS AGAINST INTER-CITY SAINTS BASKETBALL CLUB.

 

I confirm that I have read and fully understand this waiver and release of liability. I sign this waiver and release of liability voluntarily without any inducement, assurance, or warranty being made to me.
